Hello everybody and welcome to my new blog! I have no real passion for blogging. I debated about starting this one for quite some time, especially since my last couple blogs kind of fell by the wayside due to my lack of commitment. HOWEVER, this is a relatively simple way to keep everyone informed on my life as God prepares me to be a missionary. God has given me tremendous opportunities, especially in the last few months, and the last thing I want to do is keep it all to myself. With that said, please hold me accountable. I want to maintain my commitment to communicate with everyone who has impacted me and is supporting the work God is doing through me.
The purpose of this blog is not to brag about everything I'm doing. Rather, the purpose of this blog is to brag about the power of our God and the work that He is doing around me to further His kingdom. The purpose of this blog is to keep you updated on the various types of ministry I am doing and what I'm learning from it all. A lot of my work this year will be done through my church in Cheney (but you'll have to read more about that in a later post). I also hope to travel this year through Awana and Youth Missions International.
In short, there's a lot going on in my life, alongside being a full-time student, and I want you to know about it all!
So check in every once in a while. As is usually the case, I'll be posting quite a bit at the start of this thing. Send me an angry (but loving) message if I haven't posted in a long time. If there's something specific you want me to post about, I'd love to hear your ideas!
